Make Federal Tax Payments
Pay Federal TaxesFederal Income Tax Balance Due
- Under "Reason for Payment" you will select "BALANCE DUE".
- Under "Apply Payment To" you will select "INCOME TAX - FORM 1040".
- Under "Tax Period for Payment" you will select the TAX YEAR you are filing.
- Press Continue button.
- A "Please Confirm" pop up will show up - make sure you are in the right place, and press continue.
- Select the last tax year you filed under the "tax year for verification" drop down.
- Follow along the tax return to fill out the filing status, first name, last name, confirm last name, and SSN fields. Fill out the rest of the blanks on this page accurately.
- You must check that you accept the Privacy Act, then press continue.
- Enter your payment amount, and confirm the payment amount and payment date.
- Enter your banking info in the next section.
- Please check the box to receive email confirmation notifications, then enter your email and press continue.
- You must click "I agree" on the disclosure authorization to continue.
- Review all info you entered, then fill out the electronic signature section and Submit.
- Once confirmed, please send us payment confirmation to keep with your file.
Federal Extension Payment
- Under Reason for Payment, you will select "EXTENSION".
- Once this is selected, the "apply payment to" should automatically default to "4868 (for 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ)".
- It should also automatically default to the most recent tax year under "tax period for payment".
- Press Continue button.
- A "Please Confirm" pop up will show up - make sure you are in the right place, and press continue.
- Enter your payment amount, and confirm the payment amount and payment date.
- Enter your banking info in the next section.
- Please check the box to receive email confirmation notifications, then enter your email and press continue.
- You must click "I agree" on the disclosure authorization to continue.
- Review all info you entered, then fill out the electronic signature section and Submit.
- Once confirmed, please send us payment confirmation to keep with your file.
Federal Estimated Tax Payment
- Under Reason for Payment, you will select "ESTIMATED TAX".
- Once this is selected, the "apply payment to" should automatically default to "1040ES (for 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ)".
- It should also automatically default to the current calendar year under "tax period for payment".
- Press Continue button.
- A "Please Confirm" pop up will show up - make sure you are in the right place, and press continue.
- Enter your payment amount, and confirm the payment amount and payment date.
- Enter your banking info in the next section.
- Please check the box to receive email confirmation notifications, then enter your email and press continue.
- You must click "I agree" on the disclosure authorization to continue.
- Review all info you entered, then fill out the electronic signature section and Submit.
- Once confirmed, please send us payment confirmation to keep with your file.
